We have a rare opportunity to work alongside our Marine Savers team at Four Seasons Resorts Maldives, contributing directly to sea turtle rescue and rehabilitation. We invite applications from veterinarians (graduates and students) looking for a specialised hands-on marine internship.

☑️ Apply before 7 October (we may close early).
☑️ Work period: 3 months (essential), from mid-November 2026 to mid-February 2027. Working hours are 09:00 – 18:00 (with occasional late evenings) with 1 day off per week (including a complimentary excursion when available).
☑️ There is no charge to join, but this is an unpaid position. Return transfers between Malé and the resort are provided, along with shared same-sex accommodation, uniform, and 3 staff meals per day (plus tea breaks). You will fund your own international flights (please check flight prices and availability before committing).
☑️ Approximately 50% of our interns are later hired in full-time roles, or find work elsewhere in the Maldives (based on performance and availability).

The Role

✅ Daily operations at our Turtle Rehabilitation Centre: rescue, intake, treatments, monitoring.
✅ Clinical support, first-aid, and assistance with veterinary procedures.
✅ Daily husbandry: food prep, hand-feeding, tank cleaning & maintenance.
✅ Research into buoyancy syndrome and rehabilitation protocols.
✅ Data collection, record-keeping, reporting, guest presentations, local outreach.
✅ Contribute to websites and social media content.
