Code of Conduct

To create an equitable, productive, and enriching environment that will be conducive to the mission of the International Sea Turtle Society, Members and other participants at Society events and those conducting business in the Society’s name should demonstrate:

  • Respect and consideration for others
  • Consideration for diverse opinions
  • Thoughtful and respectful communication
  • Credit for the works and ideas of others
  • Responsible treatment of animals, human subjects, and research personnel
  • Ethical research and project activities

Concerns or complaints about actions that are in contravention of this Code should be made to the Society's Ethics Officers via email or any Member of the Board of Directors for further investigation.
