Want to spend next season protecting sea turtles and coral reefs on Tioman Island? We have multiple spaces open for:

🔬 Research Assistants
• Night beach patrols, nest relocation and hatchery management
• Tagging, biometrics and photo-ID of nesting turtles
• Snorkel and scuba surveys of reefs, fish and coral health
• Data collection, analysis and research reports
Requirements: a degree in marine biology, ecology, environmental science or a related field, plus Advanced Open Water with up-to-date dive insurance.

🌏 Project Assistants
• Night beach patrols, nest relocation, hatchery work and hatchling releases
• Turtle monitoring data management
• Coordinating volunteers, interns and school visits
• Project tours, community recycling projects, social media and turtle adoptions
Requirements: a degree in environmental science, conservation, education, communications or a related field, plus great people and communication skills.

📅 Intakes: mid-February and early June
